1. IF YOU HAVE ASTHMA, BEWARE! One of my neighbors smokes inside their apartment, the smoke comes into my unit through the vents. My couches now stink, and I'm ashamed to have my family over. I told the office, they sent someone to "fix it" about a week later, but the problem still remains. There's "nothing they can do."

2. Only 2 out of the 5 treadmills in the workout room work, try to split that between the thousands of residents that live here. There is only one workout facility right now, because...

3. They told us last May that they were finishing up the tanning bed facility. They have been 'finishing it up' for the past 7 months, It's now DECEMBER and they're now saying January.

4. I woke up to men on my balcony painting last week. SCARY if you are home alone! They stacked up my table/chairs on TOP of my potted plants, and then left it all there... getting paint all over my table, all over the concrete balcony, and all over the widows.

5. If you ever have an issue, your call gets forwarded to voicemail, end of story. No live person to talk to for days. I noticed that more than one person has written that on the reviews.

6. The only reason I have a parking spot is because I have a garage; I feel sorry for those that don't. I think you can "rent" ONE parking space per unit, but from what I've heard, other people will park in it and its worthless.

7. I can stand in my bathroom and hear FULL conversations of people upstairs.. I know when their baby wakes up, when they have their older kids for the weekend. I even know their names, AND IVE NEVER MET THEM!

I feel your pain. I lived at Chapel Hill for 10 months and it was the worst experience I've ever had. As I turned in my move-out letter they asked, "Is there anything we can do"? NOPE..I've had enough. Hopefully your next apartment will be better, mine is! :)

um first of all, u dont "rent" the assigned parking....its included in your rent.

Actually yes you do have to RENT a parking spot bc they covered most of the spots. Phase I is the only part that GIVES you a spot (uncovered) included in your rent. Phases II and III do not.

Yes, you do have to RENT a parking spot because the covered parking takes up most of the complex. and phase 1 IS the only phase that gives you a free spot! the other two phases don't, exactly what other user said, I am just agreeing! So first of ALL, you do. Has anyone every given the thought that J/O/H/N Huckle the operations manager is on here writing comments to defend chapel hill...how pathetic.
