This place thinks that it is so great because it offers all these "awesome ammenities", but let us all think about it for a second....They have 8 pools, Ooooo, so awesome, well there are so many buildings in this complex there has to be 8 pools or not even a 1/4 of the people living here would be able to fit in a pool. They have these hillarious signs everywhere saying River/Lake/Pond Home front views. There is this little body of water over in one part of the complex that has a fountain in it. I am curious, is this the river, the lake, or the pond' I am from a small town where the Ouachita River runs through it, and I don't see any rivers around lewisville area. There is a lake, but not anywhere close to Chapel Hill apt. They have a new gym, if that is what you want to call it, that they said would be free to residents, but really there is a 10 dollar sign up fee, and there are probably close 3 thousand residents here. You do the math. This place just tries to make the most money possible. They honestly don't care about one resident, because they have so many. I have tried to use the Cyber cafe a few times, and everytime I went 1 or 2 out of the 6 computers was working, and the two that worked were not hooked up to the printer. They only care about you when you are about to sign up with them. To future residents, don't bother to take matters to corporate if you have any, because corporate doesn't care at all either. No one, I mean no one will call you back, no matter what. So don't even waste your time. I know that there are several people on this site that say yes, live here, but keep in mind it is only a few and I believe a few are from some of the individuals that work here. Hopefully, no one will have to go through what I have gone through by living here. O yeah, if you decide that you trash smells and it needs to be outside, and you put it out early over night, they will actually dig through your garbage to see who's it is to fine them. All they care about is money, and if you have had a problem with them and you complain, they will only harass you more. There are several ladies in the front office that have the worst attitudes. When they see you walking in,the immediately have an attitude of not even wanting to help you in any sort of way. It is like they just don't care. A few of them are overweight, and maybe they are upset about that, but damn, they don't have to act like they hate the world. Also, they used to do free curb side trash p/u, and now they decided to charge for it, yet another fee. Also, if you are living here and you decide to get a home when you are moving out, they will charge you for your renters history to be given out to move into a home. Also, you would think that after you have been a resident here they would work with you on your rent, but no they will make your rent go up when you are ready to resign, if you really want to do that. This place is huge joke, and by the way, if you like a clean pool, especially when it is a community pool, then don't swim here. Where our pool is, we talked to some individuals that had asked the apt. to clean the pool, and two weeks later it had still not been cleaned. Good Luck with those PARASITES and Good luck moving or living here. I wish that I could stop everyone from moving or living here, but I can't, I am only one human being. I just hope that I help a few, and for the rest of you, good luck!!!!!!!!

I am in complete agreeance with you! I live here and am stuck here as well but I will be moving out asap because this place is mismanaged. I cannot believe that this business is even remotely successful. What goes around comes around and it will come around, "they" better believe it.

How much were they trying to increase your rent per month? Anyone on here that will share? I'm curious how much they are trying to increase rent when time comes to re-sign. I don't want to have to apartment hop again before I move into a house, so I want to stay in CH until then (and just try to ignore the problems). By the way, I tried to go swimming this morning. 7 of the 8 pools were closed for cleaning and repair work. That is the worst planning the history of mankind! With over 3000 residents, how can you schedule to work on all but one of the pools at once? It was already 95 degrees at 9 am... pools need to be rotated on the cleaning schedule!

$75 dollar increase for me. I think most apartments raise rent by maybe $30 bucks at the most. Chapel Hill is trying to pay for it's new crappy gym that is so tiny because they used most of the room to put in a smoothie counter so they can make even more money. Not to mention it's open to the public.

First off I agree with most everything the original post said. I have lived here for 2 years and when I first moved in it was great but then the complex was bought out and things just went down hill. My rent is increasing around $100 per month which is insane especially since you can move across the street to a bigger, newer apartment for the same amount of money (in which we are at the end of this month). Along with my rent increase my water, trash & sewer doubled. I would really encourage you to go to the 15 surrounding complexes and price things out. You can really get a 2 bed 2 bath 1000 sq ft apartment across the street basically for the price of their 1 bedroom here.

I AGREE!!! OMG!! They try to make this place out to be soo great but it is ridiculous. And the management is awful. Soo unprofessional! I really hope it comes back around for these people. I would not recommend this place!

so, i've lived here almost a year. I live by one of the pools and EVERY MORNING maintenance is out there cleaning it out. So they are doing their job. for the trash pickup...why can't people just follow the rules and put the trash out at hte right times? is it that inconvenient considering they are picking it up every day for us? i've never lived in a complex that's done that. Rent increases-every complex does that,it just depends on how desperate they are occpupancy wise. if you look at other properties, if their occupancy is low, they're gonna offer you an amazing deal, and when it comes time to renew, i'm sure your rent is gonna jump up...too many people complain here. this place offers everything and yes there are managorial issues, but no place is perfect. and how can you complain about the new fitness center. you can't find that any where around here...and a $10 fee...your gonna complain about that too? of course you are... please, please don't take all these complaints seriously if you are considering to live here. If you are a spoiled brat who complains about everything, you will never be happy any where you go.

I live here but I like living here for the amenities. These are perks of living on a large place and hey, why not try and make money....isn't that the name of the game? There is no such thing as a free lunch.
