Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008
I moved from the extereme ghettos of McKinney before living here.
When we first took a tour of the property I fell in love, between the dog park and the putting greens I thought this place was heaven. After living here for a week I started to have a problem with parking if I come home after 9pm there is no where in front of my apartent to park. They also told me I could rent a garage well the closest rentable garages are clear across the apartment complex from where I am at.
When it came to the application process of the whole situation they made it a nightmare, up until the day of move-in it was a question on if we weregoing to get the apartment or not. One day they call say that we got acepted our move in date was set a week later we need a co-signer and a week after that we needed to push the movemin date back one week. This was once we had already turned in our notice for the apartments we were currently living in. One leasion specialist made this an EXTERME NIGHTMARE by loosing 3 seperate applications and application fees.
Once we had finaly moved in the things they had promised to clean before we moved in, like the back stairwell weren't even touched. It was filled with dead birds, bird crap and trash from previous tenants. It took them well over 2 weeks to come and fix the problem and it wasn't even a satisfying job. During that two weeks my dogs could have decided to eat one of the birds or even have stepped on the rusty nails laying back there.
All in all this apartment complex is beautiful when meets the eye, but once you involve the staff it's a nightmare. I will stay here but I would probably not reccommened other people to live here because they have so many residence they don't have a relationship with anyone and don't know one face from the next.
