Beware of Rent Scams

Make sure you have adequate parking. If you have a spouse or significant other they may have to park miles away from your actual apartment. Same thing with garages and carports. Not only is this place unorganized but they do not care to accommodate the residents' needs. If you need maintenance you should go into the office and watch them submit the work order, if not it will not get processes. Their turnover is so bad, the person you file your work order with may write it down and be fired by the end of the day.(especially if it's close to their benefits to start kicking in)
Another thing that sucks is there is a huge section of apts that overlook a cemetery. . .what a view. Creepy!

Plus, the good ratings posted on here are stories developed by management and their friends they ask to submit false reports that boast lies, making this apt community seem like a great place to live.

If you encounter any rodent or insect infestations you would do better to pay for it to be fixed by a professional extermination company, rather than wait months on maintenance to settle it or management to ever care.

This property is owned by the Michelson Organization and being poorly represented. It is one of the largest communities in Texas and has a lot of potential. Employees are trained to offer excellent incentives, move in gifts and discounts, etc. But none of that is really worth the burdens to come once you sign that lease.

Beware of not only living there but working there as well. You really have a great chance of getting hired and getting accepted for leasing if you're a guy. If you want to work there, be expected to deal with mild harassment from female management; that is, if you want to keep your job. If you do not desire the undesirable, expect to get the axe. If you would like cheaper rent or a work order process to go through, you should become real familiar with the community director. Trust me, it will take you a long way.

Wow sounds like this person is a very unhappy ex associate. Hmmm maybe that person who did a maintence order and was fired before the day was over and maybe cause they don't work, instead they stayed on the computer and played on My Space! I have lived here for almost 2 years and the office folks have been nothing but nice to me. I have been helped with everything I need.

Great that you guys are happy! My advice: never have a problem that needs maintenance to service. I moved out and was socked with a $700 Move-out fee; $250 of that was for 'carpet usage' for carpet that nedded replacing when I moved in 2 yrs previous. By law, I think apts are supposed to replace the carpet every 2 yrs or so; don't know how they could charge me for 2 yrs 'usage'!!! They graciously allowed me to pay out the $700 monthly; always paid exactly on time. The second month, the manager 'accidentally' turned me in to a Collection agency for the bill. Got them to apologize for it but still need to track it down with all credit agencies and make sure it got removed. The three times I tried to call the Michelson Realty home office to complain, I was never ALLOWED to talk with anyone in the corporate office. Although they did seem to respond to the issues at hand, through local management. Such as it was. As customer service - this is distinctly lacking:) The reporting to the collection agency was over the top; apparently this was standard procedure for them. This guy may have been 'jilted' - but he is right on in terms of what he is conveying. And btw, if it was a female with a claim of harrassment - would you be so quick to accuse her of being flirtatious on MySpace and sort of 'asking for it'? Just a thought. The management at Chapel Hill gave a whole new meaning to custoemr service. Not a good one.
