I have been a resident of Chapel Hill for the past 12months and everytime there is some rain, my closet floor gets all wet. And guess what, mine is not the only apartment with this issue. There are lot more apartments in the same condition. The water seeps in through foundation. Everytime the maintenance folks come in and do some fix, but it is always temporary. I am living alone with a 9month old baby and so moving is not so much easy and it is being a torture to live in this aparment. I am just waiting for the time my lease gets over and I am able to move out of this hell!!! So please folks if you are looking for an apartment, go do some more search. This apartment is not worth for the "luxury" apartment price that you will be paying!!!

I was thinking about moving here. I have a friend that lives there and had no issues. I am wondering what floor do you live on. I would expect some problems with rain on the top floor. I have a kid too so I am concerned. Anyway, hope it gets better for you.

I lived in chapel hill for 9 months too. The property looks great from the outside but internally there are lots of problems. I mean just look at the pics and the way ppl are complaining. I was checking out its rating every now and then and it dropped from 54% to 37% as of today. Of course, the management will start to add some good reviews to push it up as we approach the leasing season. Honestly, for new ppl, if you managed to read these reviews you are one of the lucky ones. Other ppl renewed their lease with them and wished they checked out this site. My advise: you can eliminate this place and do more research, there are better places in the neighborhood and with better ratings.
