Nice complex and well taken care of for the most part.
Be weary of the leasing specials and leasing practices of Amesco (The Edgewater). You get a pretty good rent with cable included the first year, then they take away cable and jack your rent $150/month on a one-bedroom. They call it market rent, yet if you check all other complexes within a 2 mile radius, you will be paying $100/month more on the Edgewater.
Then they have you by the short hairs:
1) You can move. Urgh.. what a pain.
2) You can stay and pay the high rent (well above market rate).
3) You can negotiate down and they'll likely agree to concessions. Read the lease carefully when it comes to concession fees. Let's say you negotiate for only a $25/month increase resulting in a so called concession of $125/month by Amesco. What happens if you have to break your lease' You get to pay the relet fee, you lose all deposits AND you are responsible for the concessions. Let's say you stayed 8 months through a 12 month lease, that would be an additional $1000 in concession fees to move and leave your credit in tact. It sucks to get transfered by your job and be given the shaft by your apartment complex. Very poor business practice.
Suggest you investigate other complexes with reasonable leasing agreements.

You should pay closer attention to what you are talking about. The company is Univesco not Amesco. Get your facts straight.
