Lets start from the beginning. They have a $99 move in special in the summer. This includes deposit, app fee, and others. Great deal, but thats about as good as it gets here. From the grounds the place looks great. We were told once we moved in we would get a card that gives us discounts on various places around the city...never received it. We have a few problems with somethings in our apartment. We have complained about them and nothing gets done. It seems once management gets your money, its over, they dont care anymore. They say they have secured gates, but the gates are broken at least once a week. There have been numerous break ins...cars and apartments. My advice is to keep driving up MacArthur, there are some REALLY nice places about 5 miles into Coppell.

I have not had any problems with maintenance yet. I do not know what discount card you are talking about, or why that's really important. And what do gated communities really do? People can get in if they really want to. Unless you have live security at the gates you shouldn't expect much from any of them.

I have to agree with beezyg on maintenance here. When we first moved here in 2006 if maintenance didn't respond to your issue within a certain time, they would take like $100 off your next month rent, so needless to say, all maintenance issues were taken care of timely. Now that we are under new management, that deal seems to have gone out the window, and they don't seem to care when you have an issue, they get around to it "whenever they have time". I'm sorry, this is a rather expensive place to live and is supposed to be a "luxury apartment home" but it sure doesn't feel like it anymore. Gated communities are not secure when the gates never work and you have folks tailgate you inside, if they want in, they will come in. We are counting down the months until our lease is up so we can get out of here, in our experience once a place starts with the $99 move in specials, it's time to hit the road because you will end up with less than desirable neighbors most of the time. We also want to live somewhere that has a weight/breed limit on dogs, as this place allows anything and we have so far come across several folks with very large dogs.
