As is indicated in some of the previous reviews, the management of this apartment complex seem to care little for developing a rapport with their residents - which would enhance their chances of being recommended, one would assume. In addition to their seeming lack of concern for the general upkeep of the exterior of the complex, the staff is inattentive to even rare requests and seeks to charge for any small item possible, regardless of tenant history.

Much of the gym equipment has been broken for over 14 months (and, according to longer-term tenants) has been broken for over 2 years. A sewer/drain in front of my apartment has been severely leaking for almost 12 months, creating either a large standing area of water or a large muddy area with overturned sod and piles of mud. This is next to the primary entrance to the building and between the car parking area and the apartments.

A recent incident has been the last straw, so to speak, in that after paying rent promptly, and in many cases days or weeks ahead, I was 45 minutes late and they mandated that I pay a $40 late fee. In addition, the manager was on vacation (the only one that has any decision-making authority) and I could not speak with her for 2 days - during which I would be charged $10 per day in additional late fees.

What could be a decent apartment complex is, instead, allowed to deteriorate by inattentive management who treat tenants as adversaries.

There are too many other apartment complexes in the Lewisville area (with better move-in discounts) to tolerate this level of customer service. Definitely check around first.
