Roy The Fireman, I'm not a staff member

(I'm adding to this review - Roy the fireman, these people know I work for the fire department here in Lewisville , and you signed anonymous . . I want them to know I AM NOT YOU : ) . . which fire department do you work for' I work for the Lewisville FD here . . email me at the address below to let me know . . thanks).

I wrote a review on here already, the one where I said I was moving from Euless.

I wanted to come back to see if it was still here, and as I was here I noticed some of the other very negative & entertaining posts : )

Since I have been here I have not noticed anything the negative posts have been stating. I think those posts are written by disgruntled employees or people with a bug up their arse. There are no loud parties here, you are given AMPLE time to read your contracts before you move in so you are not surprised with anything shocking (Plus they are the standard contracts that all apartments have).

The post about the fire department being too loud. That's not true. Most of the time they fly by really fast so you don't hear the sirens long at all, and they head out to main street anyway wich is AWAY from our apartments. No noise. Pluse anybody with common sense would get a safe feeling living this close to a fire department and a police department. And I work for the city and those departments, so I know they are not obnoxious with their sirens. It's a rule the police DO NOT sound their sirens too often.

The pest control around here is good. I'm a 100% bachelor and I live up the single apartment life big time. The type of bachelor you see in the movies : ) Picture Bill Murry and his place in Ghostbusters 2 and that's me. : ) I have friends over all the time (we don't party loud), but when they leave there is always a huge mess. Pizza boxes on the stove, beer bottles out. I do throw away food and try not to leave it out, but sometimes crums end up under the base boards, or sugar sprinkles get left in or around the sink. Guess what' NO ANTS!!!! I'm going to pray to GOD that I do not get mice or roaches after posting this.

They got a Keep Lewisville Beautiful award, and I know that's a big deal. I know what it takes to get one of those since I work for the city . It's not an easy award to get, so you know Hidden Creek is a clean place. KLB goes to every place in Lewisville to determine who gets the award. And there are tons of places and businesses in Lewisville.

Really cool weight room, cool pool, they throw parties for the neighbors all the time.

One reviewer posted a complaint about the dog mess and the trash outside. They were really exagerating when they posted that. The trash days are only on Mondays and Wednesdays (and the trash does NOT blow around). And its cool that all you have to do on your way out is drop it off at a specific location on your way out while they take it out for you.

The animal mess on the grounds is not as bad as the other person said. They don't just ignore it, last week or the week before they sent out notices to people stating new rules and fines for anybody seen not cleaning up after their pets. I notice the reviewer said they were going to post pictures of it, but they still have not posted any links on here from the date they posted their review, which tells you they could be full of hot air : )

The water is the best tasting water I have ever had in any apartment I have lived in. Lewisville is known for that anway and they have won awards for the best tasting water in North Texas. And that same water gets delivered to Hidden Creek apartments.

The management is awesome, they remember your names when you come in to talk to them. It's almost freaky how good their memories are, especially the leasing agent named Amber. I RARELY see her, but when I happen to walk in the office to pick up a package she always greets me with "HI ADAM HOW CAN I HELP YOU'"
Catches me off guard, but it's cool she is that professional and that goes for the rest of the office staff there.

The only disapointment I have had about these places, was the same disapointment the one of the other people said towards the Cable. They don't get cable TV out here. I don't have to repeat it since they covered it all. I don't like the Dish networks either. I have had them and they are a pain to deal with. BUT you can take an extra effort to ask detailed questions before you move in. It's my fault I did not know they did not have comcast, because all I asked was , "Do you have cable TV'" And since they do, all they said was "YES." I should have asked it more specifically . . or however you spell it : ) They don't have comcast, they have some private provider that's a dish direct sales company. But they do provide the main channels like 4, 5, 8, and 11 . . and the WB which has Smallville and that's all that matters anway :)

That reminds me of the DSL comment. It's not true that it's slow. I have DSL in my place and I play online games on my computer, and I also play XBox Live and the connection is pretty good. It really is not as fast as Comcast though, but it's not as bad as the reviewer said it was.

Since I work for the city and have to have their station on the Comcast line up, I will have to move at the end of my lease. But that is the only reason. If this place got Comcast then I would most likely stay here because of all the above POSITIVE reasons I wrote.

And when you drive by here, check out all the kids running around. That means their parents feel safe enough to let their kids run around. Families feel safe here which means alot. YOu may have to have a double income to afford their bigger apartments though :)
THey also put in a walking track around their whole complex which looks really nice.

These are good apartments, don't put too much trust in the negative reviews. Come by and check them out for yourself.
