Your privacy is violated at Hidden Creek

I don't understand why people criticize the gates being broken. It does not matter if they are broken or fixed. Apartment gates never keep anybody out. All people have to do is follow somebody in . . gates should not be an issue in any of these reviews.
There are some good and bad reviews here. Some of them seem to be written by some pretty angry people. Maybe bitter past employees'
This place is not perfect, but it's not bad either.
The apartments are nice, the apartment employees are nice, I have not had any problems with my place yet as far as needing to fix things.
The main problems of these apartments are the lack of privacy you have.
Management will put up notices just the day before they say they need to come in. So if you may not want somebody coming in or need to prepare you only have 1 days notice. And if you get home late, you have no real notice. Other places offer at least 3 days notice, HIdden Creek does not.
They also sometimes just enter your apartment with no notice at all. I have had people just walk into my apartment WHEN I am here. They do abuse the privacy issue here too much.
I finally started locking both deadbolts on my door at all times. 3 times at least I have heard management trying to unlock my door but they get stopped by the deadbolt on the inside, and before that as I said above... they have walked in while I am here. They get really shocked when I walk around the corner like they've been caught or something.
I don't have anything to hide, but I worry sometimes that some of the maintenance crew might see something of mine that they like and decide to want to take it one day.
If I ever get robbed, HIdden Creek management, employers, and maintenance are the first people I am reporting.
Other than that I have had no problem with other neighbors, it's pretty quiet around here, the water actually tastes good unlike other apartments. You don't need a water filter to drink the water. The water pressure in the showers is good. The dishwasher is not too good though . . you have to rewash your dishes.
So there are good and bad things about this place.
They are super expensive too, so if you are on a single income, figure about 650 to 800 or more into your budget. And if you want a 2 bedroom apartment you and your roomate better be bringing home a lot of money because the prices get ridiculously high.
Parking is no good either.

That is illegal! They are not supposed to come in your apartment without notice or in an emergency! The complex that I live in now did that and I complained to corporate threatening to break my lease and they never did it again!!! I just put a deposit down at hidden creek so thanks for the review

It might be illegal, but read your lease carefully. In it, they list a bunch of reasons for which they can enter your apartment, and when you sign it, it gives them de facto permission to enter almost at will. Also, they frequently tell you that you must kennel your pet, if you have a pet,if they're coming in. Otherwise, you must make 'other arrangements' at your expense. It's a huge inconvenience.
