I have written a comment on here before and can say that I still love our apartment. However, BDR Broadband provides our cable television and internet service. The cable TV is fine, no problems. The internet service is down AT LEAST every two weeks or so. this has been going on for 6 months now. The people at Tech Support are nice...but not helpful. And they lie. I have been given the wrong number by them...called back and that person was "not available". They have given me a certain supervisors voice mail before and I left a message...when ask for the voice mail a month later they told me they do not have voice mail. I argued that they do and the girl said they have never had voice mail. One way or another someone was lieing. When you call customer service they beat around the bush...they are very nice but tell you that what the maintenace people are doing will fix the problem this time. They have now said that to me 3 times in the last 2 months. I know that this has everything to do with BDR Broadband and little to do with Hidden Creek, but I needed to vent. I would also like to know if any other residents are having this same issue. I have friends that live on the other side of the complex and they are experienceing the exact same problem. If you are experienceing a problem...please call BDR and complain, that's the only way anything will change.

BDR Broadband is the most unreliable, overpriced, horrible ISP I have ever dealt with. I may move out of this complex because of their service. Comcast was 1000% better than BDR Broadband.

I also agree, BDR Broadband is the worst cable service that I have had. The picture quality is ok sometimes, and the sound quality is okay sometimes. This is until back in Oct of 2006 some of out cable channel's started going out. The picture would get really snowy and and sometimes we couldn't get a picture at all, the sound did the same thing. We would have to change the channel or not watch T.V. at all. We wanted to end our service and go with another cable provider but our apartment complex (Toscana) had a contract to be exclusive with BDR Broadband, so if we wanted cable it had to be BDR Broadband. Every time they came out the problem never got fixed. Three months later the problem still had not been fixed and our cable was worst than ever, they wrote a letter telling us that there was nothing more that they could do, and when we called about the letter they told us that they would not send any one else to try to fix the problem. We thougth we were going to have to move but we got released from their contract and we were able to go with Verizon Fios. They told us that they would credit us for three months, then they told us that they would only credit us for Nov. and Dec. They then lied and said that we never paid our bill for Nov. and Dec. so that was how they were going to credit us back. We told them that we did pay and again they said they never recieved any payments, and if we we mailed our payments that we needed to report the checks as lost or stolen. We have copies of our cancled checks from the bank and they were cashed by BDR Broadband. We called and asked for a fax # to send copies of the cancled cks. so that we could get our refund and they refused to give it to us, and preceeded to tell us that they would not send us a check or give us any further credit's, but they never gave us any credits. We have all of this conversation on tape. BDR Broadband does bad business and they lie. We would never reccomend BDR to any one, I hope that all of BDR Broadband customers wake up see how they are getting ripped off and cancel there service, because it is not fair that they can get away with running a business like that and making a profit. Other than that we love our apartment at Toscana. The staff is great they all our very nice and helpful and the apartments and area is really nice as well. Eventually all residence at our complex will be able to get Verizon Fios as well. Sincerely, A very unsatified customer of BDR Broadband |
