I would look elsewhere

I have lived here for several years (mainly because of the location) and have seen a lot that goes on here. Rowdy parties, crime (my own car was vandalized), harrassment by management, and extremely high rents and fees (after they 'hook' you with a low first-year's rent).
I have put up with the noise from the upstairs AND downstairs neighbors, only to be reported myself for being 'too noisy.' Maybe it's time they looked at their building's own deficiencies (i.e. thin floors and walls), instead of blaming the residents. Things I pointed out to them on my initial walk-through were NEVER fixed (electrical plugs not working, defective windows, a large hole on the inside of my closet door, etc.)....things which they will probably try to charge ME for when I move out.
As for crime...renter beware! I have heard of at least 2 reported rapes since I've been here, vandalism is fairly common, and I have personally seen how a neighbor's truck ended up sitting on blocks, expensive tires/rims stolen, another neighbor had his bike stolen from his second floor balcony in broad daylight! I could go on...but don't take my word for it...check the police reports.
If you rent here, do yourself a favor and DON'T ask your neighbor how much he/she pays in rent, because it might be much less than YOU pay for the same apartment, and it'll only make you mad. Management seems to be more interested in turnover than it is in keeping their residents for more than a year, which they could do by keeping rents low or offering discounts. Don't waste your time going to those general meetings with management, because they will promise to listen to your suggestions for improvement and then do absolutely nothing about them...at least that was my experience.
I have no complaints about the staff, they have been very courteous and helpful, as opposed to management.
Sure, a lot of these things go on at other apartments, but for the amount of rent you end up paying here, you would think they would do something about it.

What you just described could probably be said of almost every apartment I've ever lived in, get used to it it's an apartment, not a house.

As a long-term resident at Hidden Creek, these allegations are entirely bogus and have to be posted from some pissed off resident who couldn't pay their rent. Hidden Creek is an A community and most luxurious homes in Lewisville, Texas. As I mentioned, I have resided at Hidden Creek for years and have never encountered a person unhappy with living here. It's a very positive environment and very professionally managed. I checked the police records and NONE of those charges have ever been recorded here. I'm ashamed for the person that wrote this comment NOT for the luxurious community I thrive in. I have referred my family and friends to Hidden Creek and have never been more happy with an apartment and it's community. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
