I think other reviews you may read here about Lakepointe highlight issues that I could agree with. The management is the worst, bar none that I have ever seen. Let's put this in proper perspective. The women that work the office are generally polite, cordial, and professional. The grounds are well kept, and maintenance is fairly good. If you have special requests of any of the maintenance crew, best you consult your english-spanish translation dictionary. Maintenance exists purely in the "no habla english" zone. I have no doubt their green cards check out... The management; to continue, is the most arrogant people I have ever dealt with. Regular postings at you very own front door, as you return home from your hard days work, inform you of the latest community infractions. One example, and this; believe me is only one small example, about how the fitness room restrooms would be closed until someone "fessed up" as to who smeared human feces onto the womens restroom wall.(a child, perhaps') This is part of the rent you pay folks, this is Lakepointe community. I have a large stack of the regular nastygrams published by Lakepointe staff. Fortunatly my unit has a fireplace. The redeeming quality is in closing the fact that Lakepointe is a nice property; other considerations notwithstanding.

You are a loser and should probably find another place to live. You are not going to find a better community or a more helpful staff. Scott Haynes doesn't even work there anymore by the way. The incident with the bathroom was like a year ago and it was gross and should not have gone unmentioned to the residents. I have lived in communities where the office staff NEVER says anything to the residents about what is going on and it sucks. The maintenance staff is wonderful and are ALWAYS working. They are some of the best around as far as I am concerned! You just need to be thankful for what you have or MOVE. You will not find a place that is better.

And the personal attacks continue. Is there some reason why the reviews can't be kept to the topic of, oh.. say.. the actual apartments? The management and maintenance staff has changed in the last year. I haven't received a single "nastygram" since I've lived there.

After reading "Anonymous" review, I have contemplated wether or not to respond. I don't want to validate the contempt with which the review was written. I typically avoid this site because comments arent' always on track. However, as the new Manager at Lakepointe I wish to clairify some points. Our Courtesy Officer here since July, Jerrold is an upstanding and helpful person. During a recent power outage, he and the assistant manager walked the property to help residents get in their garages in case their keyless deadbolts were on. When a resident was locked out and called the service but didn't leave a name, phone or apartment number, he walked the property looking for them. The maintenance staff who do have accents are hard working individuals who take your trash to the dumpster so you don't have to, unclog your commodes, clean debris out of your garbage disposal and do it all with a smile. If it's pouring rain, they're still out there doing what they must. We may make mistakes, may not always make you happy but our goal is to provide each person here with respect and a clean well maintained place to live. I'm not sure of the source of your bitterness but if you'd like to come by the office, I would be happy to discuss it with you! Sandie Meurer, Lakepointe Manager
