I beg you: NEVER MOVE HERE

As much as I want to say how terrible my experience has been living here, there are some good things about this complex (very few). I'll state these first:

THE GOOD

1. Rent and Deposit Prices are Low
The rent is fairly inexpensive, and being one of the first residents to ever move in here in 2001 (the same year the complex was constructed), I've been able to get really good rates every subsequent renewal. Also, the security deposit I had to pay was a low $75 dollars.

2. Location
The complex is located south of Vista Ridge Mall, a pretty decent mall. Getting there is as easy as walking not even a tenth of a mile to the mall property. This took the pain out of dealing with mall traffic especially during those holiday seasons.

THE BAD AND THE UGLY

1. Parking
If you work during the evening and go home late at night, good luck finding a parking spot because it's not going to happen here. A while back the complex tried to solve this problem by having residents register with a "parking hanger", which is located on every resident's car. Soon after, though, the idea dissolved and now anyone with a vehicle with at least two wheels can just park wherever the hell they want.

I signed up for covered parking: BAD IDEA. I can't stress this enough: NEVER SIGN UP FOR COVERED PARKING HERE. It was a TOTAL nightmare. People who didn't pay for these spots would park their cars there. And getting cars towed here is next to impossible, as the towing company will only act with the manager's persmission. So, if someone parks in your covered parking and the office is closed, there's no way that vehicle is to be moved. TOTAL NIGHTMARE I'm telling you.

2. Noisy!
I swear, my neighbors upstairs are always bowling or moving and dropping furniture. And it seems like the people across from me are always throwing parties in the hall. Half of this problem is peoples' blatant disregard for others, and the other half is due to thin walls.

3. Nothing Ever Works / Poor Maintenance
Nothing ever works here - toilets, lights, faucets, doors, air vents, DOOR LOCKS - you name it. The maintenance team: what maintenance team' I don't think this complex has one. I've seen one man drive around in a golf cart but all he does is examine the property gate, which is ALWAYS broken.

The temperature inside each room also varies every day, even though our settings remain the same throughout the month. It's either too hot or too damn cold. Pick one, and I hope you're happy living here.

Simply put: everything breaks here and nothing works. Don't bother putting in maintenance requests because they just get filed away (or thrown away) and don't get taken care of.

4. Poor Management / Staff
I admit, when I first moved in here the management staff was AWESOME. But then they were replaced by some other management company, and this process continued about three or four more times. I never see the same people twice at the Limestone Ranch office. If you move here, expect to deal with many random people. If you're looking to build a relationship with the same staff at a complex, this is not the place for you.
