I liked at the Oaks of Lewisville for a year in 2004. I had the 2bed/1bath floorplan. If you are looking for luxury apartments, you will be very disappointed. If you are looking for a decent place to live, check them out. I paid $565/mth for 850 sq ft. The appliances were older and not very energy efficient. The bathroom was very small. I did have plenty of closet and storage space. I never had any problems with timely maintenance or customer service from the property staff. My covered parking spot was around the corner, so I couldn't see my car from my unit, but it wasn't very far away. I had a couple of other friends who lived there and I don't believe any of us had a bad experience. Guest parking could be a hassle at times, but that does also keep the partying down since you can't really have too many big parties if your guests have nowhere to park. I never had any problems with crime, and I got to know several of the families living near me. One of my friends who lived on the other side of the complex had his car broken into and his radio stolen twice.
I moved out on good terms at the end of my lease for several reasons:
1. They raised my rent for the next year from $565 to $585 and I couldn't afford the increase.
2. I wanted a 2nd floor unit.
3. I found a smaller (lower energy costs) apartment in a nearby complex that had newer appliances (and the cabinets, etc were in better condition) for less rent than I had been paying.
