Granted, I haven't had much apartment-living experience, but I like this place just fine. When I moved in the place was grungy and disgusting (only really the shower and the oven though), I called them up about it and the very next day they had a team of maids in and completely cleaned everything, shampooed my carpet (and rug!), made my bed for me and put all my clothes in the hamper. A week from then, my garbage disposal stopped working, and within hours they had a guy out to fix it, he even cleaned up the mess.

I'm on the first floor and I get unbelievable air conditioning (perhaps the two floors above me ar giving me their coldness!!!). I keep it at 80 and my energy bill for the first half month (or really, about 20-25 days) was an amazing $60 for freaking AUGUST. I live right by the office and one of the pools, and my only complaint about that is the kiddos that scream and shout, but even then they just don't bother me. Even the person above me plays loud music every once and a while, but never at a bad time- ie. never in the middle of the night, yadda yadda. I don't even pay that much for water, overall I'm very happy with the place. The only real complaint I have is about Comcast, but hey, that's not the apartment's fault.

Who is your energy company because I ahve Genxa and paid a whopping $300 for my two bedroom in August at Oaks of Lewisville.

the meters are crossed, you probably paid the bill for a vacant apartment. seems to be common here...
