It's allright by me
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 2/27/2008
Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008
I had some trouble right after I moved in; some "minor" things that I had to complain to management about several times.(badly repaired flooring under the sink after a leak; blinds that tried to fall on me several times, etc)
Since then we've had a pretty quick response time to problems.
The office staff and management *have* turned over quite a few times and the manager we had in the middle was my favorite. She was funny and personable and made it a point to remember her tennants. (it's a pretty big complex, so this impresses me)
The thing that impressed me most was right before Christmas this past year. (2007)
My SO had to have emergency surgery and was hospitalized for 9 days.
We don't have a car.
We do have a dog.
I had to come home at least once a day to deal with dog.
At one point, after checking my mail the (then) manager and one of the leasing agents were outside for a bit and I told them I needed to vent.
I told them, really just a tiny bit of what was happening and the manager told me "if you can't find a ride to the hospital, check with us, we might be able to get you there."
She also said they might not, it would just depend on availability, but dang! to me that's going above and beyond.
Yep, sometimes it noisy, the gates have almost never worked and during the summer we have some rude, rude neighbors who use the pools as a trash can; but I like it here and would glady reccomend someone to live here.
Oh, by the way, I *have* seen some of the updated apts and they look fantastic. Don't know what they are charging and if it's worth it, but they look great.
