I have lived here since Feb 2005 and have no complaints. The thing I love the most are the screened porches. I haven't found any other complex in DFW that offers this feature. It's great, we have ours decked out like a comfy living area. It's a great place to chill out and relax after work or school. We also are lucky in that we have really quiet neighbors. Most people in the complex around us are courteous people. The apartment is older so some things have needed repair, but maintenance has been prompt about most every issue. AC was an issue at first (the AC units are 18 yrs old or so) but that problem has been resolved for us now, so we're happy campers. We don't have a problem with bugs, I've only seen a couple since I've been here. The complex backs up to a walking trail if you're into fitness or getting away from hustle/bustle. Grocery store is right behind complex so you can walk there and back in no time. The only negatives I'm aware of are a car broken into recently (but it was a softtop Jeep, so was easy to get into) and before we moved in, our neighbors told us there was a peeping tom, but the police caught him and there've been no problems since. I've only seen the cops here twice, once was for the Jeep. Other time was for noise, and those tenants have been kicked out now. The grounds here are really nice, pools are kept really clean in summer season. If you're a female, I wouldn't stroll around the complex or surrounding area alone at night for any extended period, but I feel safe during the day. Management has been courteous and attentive. Maintenance guys are great, friendly, honest. For the price, you can't beat this place.
