We just moved into VS in September, and so far it's been a fantastic experience. Erin and Lily (manager and leasing agent) are just fantastic. Friendly and -real- people, huge contrast to the nightmare apts we were in over in Plano prior to this. A few days after moving in a perfect storm of a problem occurred (the stem on the toilet failed at the exact same moment the toilet plugged without us noticing...so water was constantly filling the bowl but couldn't just run down the drain) that caused our bathroom to flood, soaking the carpet near the bathroom.

We called an the response was almost immediate even though it was 9:30 at night. Best. Maintenance call. EVER. They took care of everything very quickly, even had the carpet guy out in less than an hour to resolve that issue as well.

The buildings aren't the newest or fanciest, and the landscaping has some issues (much of it lacks grass near the parking areas, which causes muddy runoff when the sprinklers run) but the neighbors are great, the place doesn't feel dangerous or 'ghetto' at all (unlike a previous reviewer's statement), and there's a fantastic feeling of -community-. Erin, Lily, and the staff live in the complex, which makes a huge difference. It's their home, so they put great care into it.

We couldn't be happier, and don't plan on moving again until we're able to afford our own house within a few years. If things change, I'll come back and update, but this last month has been an absolute joy and SUCH a change from our last apts.
