I moved in June 2006 with my boyfriend at the time. From the begining they have lied to me. When we first came to the springs they told me I would be paying $745 for a upstairs room that was 782 sq. ft. So we agreed to that. The next day we came in to sign the lease, the staff told us that the rent would be $765 instead of the one they offered us before. They claimed they didn't have any more at that price after we gave a $50 deposit to hold our room, which was horse s**** the other staff members had already sold the same room to other people way after us and they didn't have to put a deposit on it either!!! Well after we were in all moved in everything was fine for the first couple of months, then our power circut went out. We had to light candles everywhere in the room, maintence took so long to fix the problem, I'd say about a week can you image sitting in the dark not able to do anything cause of your stupid circuts. So in January and Febuary I did not pay rent. During the second week of Febuary I got a evcition notice, so naturally I went up the next day to the office to explain what happened. The mananger in charge told me it was okay and she agreed to let me stay as long I payed for march's rent on time and half of what I owed, so I did. My leasing agent called me to notify me I needed to sign a "hold off" eviction notice, I did that too. March came and I payed them over $1200.00 for the room. So about a week after I payed them an officer came to my door to hand me legal papers,I was being sued. I contacted the office several times but never returned my calls, they even hung up on me twice. So I went to my hearing and decided to just leave I had enough with them, all they wanted was money they didn't care about anything I had to say to them. Me and the leasing office had came to a decision and they threw back in my face. I DO NOT recommend these to anyone, all they care about is money money money. They are small apartments with large rent FEE's. The rooms were all messed up, don't be fooled just because they are new, they suck. All my doors were lop-sided, my front door never closed right, the front gate is always broken, so anyone can come in, anyone!!! On the plus side the neighbors were very nice, mostly military families, but that's it. I now live at Toscana At Sonterra they are fablous!!!!!!

No need to get upset with the office staff because you didn't pay your electricity and you were evicted.

I definitely think this renter had a right to get upset and the office staff should be held accountable for the well being of the resident.

If you don't pay rent you get evicted. Unless you make an agreement beforehand, the renter can't decide when or when not to pay rent.

I agree with the renter. This place is the worst place possibe.
