Since the new manager has taken over Ashton Pointe apartments and the Yorkshire duplexes, wonderful changes have taken place.
The noise, that was once non-stop, is now only occassional...and very quickly gets quiet after reporting a complaint to the answering service. Before this, parties would sometimes be stopped...but only if they were EXTREME (pueking phrat boys, yelling, fighting outside, etc). I cannot tell you how much quieter it is now...sure the occassional party here and there, but HELLO, this is a college town...Parties are everywhere. I feel much better knowing that if I do complain (loud music, etc)...it will be acted upon now that the old manager is gone.
Maintenance used to be average, with only 1 or 2 guys to fix stuff. Now, everywhere you look there is a maintenance guy fixing something! The phase one area even got repainted...it looks so much better! Plus-when something doesn't work or a light bulb is out, I no longer have to wait 3 or 4 days before it is fixed. If I call early in the morning, it is done that day! If it is late afternoon, usually by the next day. Also, the trash in the parking lot seems to have disoppated as well.
The office staff has always been kind and respectful. Although I do miss some of the ladies that are no longer there, the newer people are really helpful. I was so shocked when I turned in my rent and they wanted to make sure everything in my apartment was ok. I like knowing that they care. I think Ashton Pointe is moving up on the scales. Before this new manager, I would not suggest it for the price unless you were a greek wanting to party...now I highly suggest it. NOW-IT IS WORTH THE PRICE!
