I currently live in Bentwood Apartments and my lease is almost up. I had began poking around for a new apartment, as I find moving into a new place is exciting. After weeks of looking, I have experienced trashy units, rude staff (even though i was possible business for them) un-kept grounds and collapsing car-ports. I then began to do ALOT of research on this site. I scared myself crapless at the horror stories that were tied to NUMEROUS apartments that I had previously been interested in. After a LONG thought process, I realized that everything I was looking for in a home, I already have!! Although yes, the noise from your neighbors can make you cringe, it seems that it is a problem in ANY apartment. I haven't seen a roach in sight, unlike most apartments I've experienced and the one time I did hava a TINY bug encounter, the professional exterminator was over the same afternoon. Bentwood does have the occassional breaks in unit equipment, but the maintenance has obviously improved. Any time that I've had a mishap, I've had a maintenance man knocking on my door within the hour, if not minutes. SERIOUSLY!! Ive lived in a different apartment yearly, and I've NEVER had that kind of service or attention. The office staff is AMAZING and every time I go in there, they are up and ready to help me with whatever I need with a huge smile on their face. If I'm not happy, they do whatever they can to make sure I'm comfortable in my apartment. I feel completely safe here and have the added security knowing that the on-site cop lives just doors down and I have been provided with a number that goes DIRECTLY to his cell phone. They really do make sure that you have the BEST experience possible when you live here. Obviously it is NOTHING like it used to be, because I have no horror stories for you. I was surprised to see the very low rating when I started searching on this site. It's the BEST apartment complex I've ever lived in BY FAR. It's quiet, the parking lots are lit up all night, and the staff is so awesome. The units are HUGE, the fitness center's the best I've seen so far, the pool is sparkling and ALWAYS clean and they are EXTREMELY accommodating as to what you want, how you want it and what will make you happy. I now feel so comfortable settling down and calling this my HOME, that I'm resigning my lease.... under the condition that the staff doesn't quit within the year. ; )
