Bear Creek is a complex that wont wow or really dissapoint you.I lived there from 2001-2002 There are some good things like some furniture that comes with and having your electricity paid for. Parking is alright but sometimes you have to park in the street. There are no assigned spaces. Bad things are that even though it is not a noisy complex it is still loud in your apartment. Walls are very thin and you can easily hear your neighbors especially in the restroom and kitchen and above neighbors. The neighborhood isn't very good though it is right off 19th st. The apartments are pretty small though you do have a pretty large room. The complex is old as a whole. There is no balconies or patio's with the apartments which sucks but they do have screen doors if anyone cares. You have a window air conditioner that either makes it too cold or too hot and is very loud. Overall the complex has an alright look to it from a distance but is kind of run down when you get close. Pool sucks no real atmosphere to it. Management and maitenance are average. You could do better than this place for your money you just have to do a good search in lubbock. Overall I probably would not recommend it i was itching to leave after my lease was up.
