I was a resident at Lubbock Lakeway for 3 or so years. and out of those three years i had a leak in my bathroom ceiling and in my guestroom's wall for 13 months. Made NUMEROUS work orders, never got done properly...they simply painted texture over the gaping hole in my ceiling above my shower. The leak in my guest bedroom ruined carpet and the wall is bubbling now. i moved out due to their neglegence and asked when it would be fixed if i was to stay, they said that there was nothing further they could do to assist me. how professional. that is a health hazard. Black mold was growing out of the hole and on my wall....yet they did not see fit to make sure my well being in the apartment was top priority, instead they decided to promote daughter dearest and the rest of the family. Do not rent from here, i am not an angry past resident who is out to get this property or its employees, but a human being who is honestly trying to save someone out there from living in hell on earth. The maintenance man, Mike, came to fix a leak in our kitchen sink once, and my entire living room adn kitchen was flooded up to my ankles with nasty water, his technique, not very affective i might add, for repairing the problem was to bring me a 5 gallon bucket to put under the sink and told me to empty it as needed. this went on for 4 and a half months. very rude and self consumed employees. Very nice and convincing when you look, but do not lease! also, they run alot of specials, thats how they hooked me.....but i found out why the hard way....ITS THE ONLY WAY TO BRING IN TRAFFICE TO THEM.

i hope this helps someone out there, and know there are so many better places to live. you get what you pay for.

- oh...and any responses to this.....beware of forming your opinion based on them. heres some tips:
if there is a response saying nothing but good things, defending and being defensive almost personal level, and completely disagreeing with myself in every regaurd....that is the owners precious Daughter Sarah.
all of the nice reviews on here are from her. i know for a fact.

Sounds like you have a personal problem with the owners Daughter other wise you wouldn't of said that.ON sites like these, I have found it to be that its a personal attack on people our of spite. Not only that but also alot of times there are negative things posted about a complex its from a previous residnet that is just pissed off that they were "EVICTED". If you were being treated unfairly, and maintenance didn't do anything to fix the situation with the black mold that was growing that is really a health hazard to anyone, there are steps that can be taken to get issues fixed. you didnt have to move.
