You get what you pay for

You get what you pay for. That basically says it all about Meridian Park. I would have to say that i would probably have moved out if it had not been for the new owners stepping in and starting to change things, somewhat. I think that almost everyone in the office was replaced. The new management seemed to really care about us at first. Our maintenance requests would be worked on in just a few days, and they were very reasonable. That has all started to change now. Now they are started to become like our old management. Our garbage disposal, you know, they one in the sink, broke 2 weeks ago. We told them right away, and they still havent done anything about it. I said if it hadn't been for the new management we would have moved out, well, now we're moving out because of the new management.
The apartment complex looks nice. The outside renovations were a nice touch: new siding, paint, and a new-ish parking lot (just cleaned them, put down a thin layer of asphalt and repainted the lines). Although it would be nice if they had renovated the interior instead of the exterior. Our appliances are dated, nothing has a digital feature on it, and our dishwasher will clog with the smallest piece of food, but once again: you get what you pay for. The cabinets are in decent shape, although they are most likely the original cabinets that were installed. The cabinets are in decent shape, although they are most likely the original cabinets that were installed. They work, but look old and worn out. The bathrooms aren't too bad, although they are a little small (i can reach the toilet and sink from the shower). The tile is in good shape, with only the caulk cracking, but that can be fixed. The rooms are somwhat spacious, with closet space (as least in the master with two people) being minimal.
Also, MP has 2 pools, a hot tub, and a sand volleyball court, the only problem is that the volleyball court has rocks in it, and the hot tub has no water in it.
We had never had a problem with vandalism or any kind of crime until a few weeks ago when my roommate's car was broken into. Nothing was stolen, it was just broken into. Other people said that the office staff we never in and that they weren't very nice. They have always been there when i went, except during their lunch hour. The majority of the time the office staff is nice to you too, but of course the majority of the time that you see them is when you pay your rent.
I think that MP could really make their apartment complex a lot nicer with just a few upgrades. Normally a kitchen sells a place, new appliances would go a long way in attracting new tenets. Better landscaping would make the apartments look a lot nicer, and it doesnt have to be expensive. It would also be nice if we had the option of getting an alarm system, although we have never had any problems with someone trying to break into our apartment, it would just be nice.
