I lived here for a year, my first apartment, and boy was I fooled. They turn off the water sometimes more than weekely, the manager is biased and gives her friends discounts and allows them to have pets, although there are no pets allowed.

Also, my refridgerator went out once, spoiled all of my food, I reported it and they said nothing was wrong with it, a week later it went out again spoiling more food! My bathroom flooded more than 6 times, I reported it every time and they just ignored me until I threatened legal action. The pool is always filthy and the laundry room is ridiculously small.

The complex itself is just very outdated and they also did not give me the apartment I preleased.

Finally, there are shady people all over that neighborhood and my car was broken into, as well as my neighbors apartment, WHILE SHE WAS HOME!

I wrote the review on this thread and in response to the above response. That is ridiculous. I'm not hiding behind any identity cloak, my username makes it easy to figure out my name. Also, apartment reviews are not about deterring renters, they are solely used in apartment searches to understand what the PROPERTY MANAGERS (Marsha) doesn't tell you about the horrible conditions of the facility in general. You would think property managers would have more to do in the day than comment on threads.

We at Peppertree Inn are disappointed to ever discover that we have failed to make a resident's stay at our property one that met their housing needs in all respects. It is even more disappointing to be advised of this dissatisfaction on this web page which allows anyone, resident or not, to hide behind a cloak of anonymity and to post a complaint which is filled with half truths and misrepresentations. Unfortunately, because of privacy issues it is impossible for us to respond and set the record straight as to what really happened. Peppetree can only assure its current residents, and those who will reside with us in the future, that Peppertree Inn is vigilant in seeing to a resident's satisfaction. The management and staff of Peppertree Inn strictly follow rules and regulations of the Federal Fair Housing statutes and of both Federal and Texas landlord/tenant laws. Maintenance and upkeep of the property is a high priority and maintenance needs are met in a prompt and efficient manner. Finally, it is sad that one person can identify persons "all over that neighborhood" as shady in hopes of influencing future renters. Peppertree Inn Management

I happen to have had the privillege of living here at Peppertree Inn for five years now and I love it. But no, it's not perfect, no apartmanet place is, ---- happens, deal with it. The manager, Marsha, is not biased at all. She's actually the best manager I've ever had, and I've had apartments all over Texas. I have also baby-sat her daughter off and on since she was a baby and I've never gotten any special discount or anything like that, I am treated the exact same as everyone else. Also, your car getting broken into and home burglaries happen everywhere. So honestly, get over your self!
