I've lived at The Reserve (Jefferson Commons) for over 2 years and am signed up for another year. It really just depends on luck as to whether or not you will enjoy your living arrangements. My first set of roomates were normal, but loud and nothing like myself. I was basically stuck in my room for the entire year. My next set of roomates were even worse. They wrote me nasty letters and did not even attempt to get to know me before putting me down. The roomate matching system is really a joke. They put you in whatever room is available. The room was also in the center area, and I would often be woken up by loud screams of drunk people and loud music from parties.

However, I moved from the 3 bedroom I was in, to a 2 bedroom in another building, and I absolutly love it. It's quiet and much nicer than the apartment I previously was in. My roomate also works out much better (but I did my own roommate matching on that one.)

Overall, you get what you pay for, and sometimes less. The only real problem with management I had was when they lost my rent check, counted my next payment as a late payment for the previous month, and tried to have me evicted. It actually took a couple months to figure it all out, but I ended up not owing anything, and have learned to ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ask for a reciept when I pay my rent.
