It sounds to me that these people either had one bad experience and took it over board or are just immature. I used to live there and work in the office. I now live at another apartment across from campus which I will not name. My new apartment has the same problems every other complex has including the reserve. The reserve is in a better neighborhood than Im in now and I always felt safer walking to my apartment than i do now. anyway, my experience was nothing like some of these people say and the apartments arejust as good if not better than the others.

I used to live there. This review could not be further from the truth. The complex was a great place to party, but feels live living in an extended flop house. Waves of students who didn't live there would come to party, trash everything and leave the place looking like a garbage dump by the morning. They would uproot sapplings and break so much glass that it was common knowledge that you could not safely walk barefoot. The rent was high and everything was cheap, aging if not broken. It was fun for a bit, but sometimes you want a home, and some quiet. There were even gang problems at times. A roving gang would come in late at night on some weekends and jump guys who were so unfortunate as to be walking around the complex alone. The cops showed up and people would throw bottles at them. I once had to pull a gun to keep people from forcably entering my apartment. The place is know throughout the student body as being a joke. After the apartment building boom the place is just a cheap and crappy place to live on the far end of town. I don't know if the parties are like that anymore, but I know its even more run down than it used to be. It used to be called Jefferson Commons, but they changed the name to try to duck its reputation. The management staff is still the same. They are horrible. Even worse than the people at my current complex. They signed for my pacakge from the post office, but had no record of anyone siniging for it. Despite that, it was missing when I showed up for it. They had no idea where it went and stared at me nervously and could only say "sorry, we don't know where it went". It had over $300 in Xmas gifts.

Considering that I've lived in apartments for about 5 years. No you do NOT have the same problems you would at the reserve. Living there was one of the worst decisions I've made. Not only did I become physically sick and had to go to the hospital because of THEIR apartments, but the service was atrocious. YES it was livable (somewhat), YES it was cheap ... but HONESTLY the main reason I lived there was because my boyfriend lived there .... and he had even more problems than I did.
