overall horrible experience, worst I ever lived in

I lived at the Reserve right after it changed from Jefferson Commons. The office staff was unfriendly, and it took forever to get maintenece requests taken care of in a timely manner. My dishwasher broke and sat with water standing in it for 6 weeks, which resulted in molding and leaking all over the floor. There were stains on the carpet when I moved in, and it obviously had not been cleaned before I moved in. Then they tried to charge me to have the carpet replaced because I did not say what COLOR the stains were on my inventory sheet. They also made us each pay $150, for a total of $450 -- we got nothing back on our deposit because they said that it was for cleaning purposes, even though we cleaned the apartment thoroughly before we moved out.

My roommate's car window was smashed out in the parking lot at 3 in the morning one night, and the gates do not work. Drunk people would constantly wake me up really early.... although I realize that these are college apartments, this was much more excessive than other complexes I have lived in. Tammy (the property manager) did not care about anyone or anything, and she refused to meet with me even though I went by the office SEVEN times when she was scheduled to be in.

The grounds were filthy, as was the pool and the hot tub, which were never cleaned. The gym was never open except during office business hours, which were short and basically consisted of times when students have class. Broken bottles, old beer cans, and smashed lawn chairs would be strewn all over the place, and nothing was ever cleaned up. We had a sprinkler break every other week, and the water would shoot up for hours and hours and flood the whole area. It was a disaster!!! I live at another complex in lubbock right now and I love it.... it is the complete opposite of the Reserve.
