They tried to charge us for full carpet replacement after two years. First of all the carpet was in fine condition (they just choose the crapiest becasue it is the cheapest). There was nothing in our lease about carpet replacement just repairs. We actually had to threaten to get a lawyer because they were doing this to all occdupants moving out. By the way we actually know of someone who moved out paid for the "damages" and the carpet was never replaced. Guess where the money went' IN THEIR POCKETS! We also caught "repair" men going through our stuff. They claimed it was in their way to fixing the leak in our back batheroom but the items were actually set all the way against a wall no where near the bathroom. WARNING the price may be cheap but the crap you will have to deal with is not worth it!

Tammy is taking this money and using it towards cartons of cigarettes. I agree with you, though. Pretty much everyone was getting charged $100 before they even moved out. I made sure to clean the apartment spotless before I left. Other than minor stains on the carpet, the apartment looked great. I chose not to pay the 100 dollars, because I was going to clean the apartment. Sure enough, in mid-September, a bill for 100 dollars was sent to my house. No matter how much time I spent cleaning the apartment, it wasn't good enough. I was smart enough to take pictures of my apartment before I left because I knew I was being screwed over. I am refusing to pay this 100 dollars, and if necessary, I will get an attourney. Nobody should ever live here.
