Terrible

From: -Anonymous-

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008

I lived there from 2007-2008 and the place was terrible. From the recent reviews it seems like the place has only gotten worse. The first few months I lived there, police found a storage closet full of stolen items from tenants. The staff is a joke and look at you like you're an idiot because you came in for help. The first 3 months I probably shouldn't have even paid rent because I had no mailbox, therefore I had no address. Every time I went in there to ask for my key, they told me my apartment number didn't exist.

Walls are paper thin and you can hear anything and everything. Parties are always a problem and if you leave on a Friday or Saturday night, good luck trying to park at your own building. They only check parking if UT or A&M is in town. Be careful coming in late because there is always random people walking around and I walked up to my apartment witnessing fights and vandalism. The police officer who was supposed to be security just happened to work at night, so it was never patrolled. However there were always cop cars going in and out of the complex on a daily basis.

Again, staff and management is terrible and they just scam you and your money. They talked a great deal about their "new" workout facility, when in fact they just moved the same equipment from the old room to the new, smaller one. They try to take your money with move out fees when in fact they are unnecessary. They are quick to back down once confronted because they don't want to avoid any legal trouble.

Apartment was a mess when I moved in and they somehow said I never gave them a move-in check list telling them what was wrong with the apartment. The complex is filled with beer cans and cigarette butts. Maintenance looks like they all came from the same prison and give girls creepy stares. They even did this to my fiance while I was with her. They are a joke and fix things half way if they even go to it at all.

Yes, the price is cheap but it sure isn't worth it. Unless you're a college kid who really doesn't care about how you live, this isn't the place for you. Spending some extra money on a better place is worth it. Yes all apartment complexes have their problems, but this one takes the cake. Not everyone may have negative experiences with the Reserve, but it seems to be common amongst most of their past and present tenants. DO NOT LIVE HERE.
