My difficulties with this apartment complex have been pretty well documentated, on this website in fact. But, in all honesty, pretty much every problem I posted on here has been fixed. My roommates shower, the laundry room ceiling, they even set up a pest control guy to come out and spray every Wednesday. The last review I wrote was definitely impulsive, as a college student life can be rather overpowering. I had just gotten out of the hospital from the brown recluse that bit me and was livid, (a two inch deep incision will do that). Due to the spider bite and the two and a half weeks of class I missed i'm having to do a medical withdrawal from class. Dealing with professors and everyone has been nightmarish but suprisingly enough the most helpful people through the entire experience have been the staff here at The Reserve, Gary in particular. They really seem to understand and in a time like this it means the world to me. So as far as the apartment goes, ya, it has it's flaws but as soon as someone on here finds the perfect apartment complex let me know, haha. I had a horrible impression of this place but between them fixing most everything wrong with the apartment and being understanding when noone else wants to be, I think I could recommend The Reserve on Frankford with a clear conscience. Seems like all anyone on here wants to do is hate on the management, including myself, but they have been nothing but helpful in my time of need so all the nit picky stuff is pretty easy for me to look past.

The funny thing about the review is (I lived there last year) is that I know that the new tenants have an amazingly clean room .... not because I was forced to pay a "walk off" fee to get my room professionally cleaned ..... but because I MYSELF CLEANED the damned place from top to bottom. The funnier thing is, that judging from your review, they didn't use that fee to clean like they said they would. Just thinking about my experience there frustrates me. AND yes, they're just as blatantly disrespectful to females as they are to males. The cop, or whatever he is, LIVES at the complex and honestly doesn't do ---- except harass the people who do try to live in peace. Lastly, if you attend Texas Tech (which I'm assuming you do) .... contact their free legal services and have a FULL copy of your lease. I know there's somethings that they do that are breach of contract that might help you get out of your lease.
