The carpets were stained when we moved in. The living room light was an industrial florescent light. Huge parts of the kitchen linoleum were missing and one of the bedrooms didn't have a door handle. The bathroom sink started to back up and it smelled like sewer gas. The toilet water sometimes backup up but into the bathtub. Management never did anything despite frequent complaints. We refused to pay rent until they fixed the sink and we were served papers notifying that we were being sued for past due rent when it was only 2 weeks late.

Often there were shouting matches between neighbors and outdoor construction was performed during morning hours of the weekend.
