Overall, this is probably the best apartment complex I've lived in, although it is not perfect. I've lived here almost a year now and I'm pleased. I will be moving but only because I'd like to be closer to work, otherwise I would rent here until I was ready to buy.
Pros:
Very quiet. I have to disagree with the poster who says crime is on the rise. I have left my wallet ON the dashboard in my car overnight on more than one occasion with no problems. My boyfriend has left his ipod in his truck overnight with no problems. I feel safe when I'm home alone which is something I really value.
Cons:
Somewhat expensive, although I do believe you get what you pay for. The office consistently messes up on their paperwork, ie not sending you your water bill, misapplying payments, and sending notices on accident (one time we received a notice to move our boat, we don't have a boat). We are forced to use charter for cable and internet service, which I hate. It's impossible to get them to come fix something. All of this is not really a big deal, more like a minor annoyance. There have only been a few times when I couldn't find parking and it was rather late at night. There is one a-hole who drives a hummer that takes up two parking spaces and I think this makes other people think they can do it as well. Again, a minor annoyance. Our electric bill is a little high due to cheap materials used to build, but most apartments these days are built the same way.
All in all, it's a nice place to live.
