I moved from Michigan to Mansfield, and felt very comfortable. My (at the time) boyfriend, and I signed a lease, and my daughter, boyfriend and I moved in for 14 months. I'm a worrier by nature, and wasn't comfortable with my daughter sleeping by the front door, and having a window in the 'common area.' There were a few times we had to call the office because little kids were kicking balls against our door, window or the wall that my daughter's bedroom was off of. Every time I called the office staff came out and took care of the situation. When the kids that were causing problems moved out, I had NO problems, at all!

We moved in April 15th of 2005 and were very comfortable. I didn't care much for the manager- she was rather rude, however she left our office shortly after. There was plenty of room, it was beautiful! Clean, white, wide open, and very comfy. We had lots of family visit and they all felt very comfortable visiting.

--FEATURES--
The floor plan is nice- allowing an open dinning room/living room plan. The separate bedrooms are a great feature, especially for a roommate situation. The connecting bathroom to each room is also great. The apartment is very spacious and allows for my girlfriend (whose in a wheel chair) to easily get around. All the windows are amazing, and allows so much natural light to come in. Not to mention the hotter months the windows are great. We had a ceiling fan in our bedrooms and living room. There open dinning room/living room allows for many different setups depending on furniture/tv. Each room had a nice size walk in closet. The space was great too. Allowed for two dressers, a full size bed and a crib in the smaller room. There was still room to walk around, and for my daughter to play. There is also tons of cupboard space, and

--'SECURITY'--
We had a few problems, however, those were reported to the police, and can be found out by calling Mansfield PD. Our problems weren't anything that management could have prevented. They did what they could when they could.

--MANAGEMENT--
I had a few problems with the person they hired as an assistant- John I believe his name was. He was just a cocky jerk in general. He didn't last long. Abby is very easy to work with- you just have to COMMUNICATE with her, your needs. There is paper work that they are required to send out, by law, regardless of the agreement she has made with you. Instead of getting upset about it, just call and talk to her, she's happy to explain anything.

--WATER--
The water bill we never really had a problem with. We did move out two weeks before our lease ended, and we did not pay rent and we were also sent to collections with in a month. Again, I'm sure there is a certain way things have to be done. Abby is VERY easy to work with... when you're nice and respectful you get the same in return.

--ELECTRIC--
The electric bill was a little high-

--POOL--
The pool was really nice, cleaned once a week (Monday). We never had any problems with/at the pool.

--NOISE--
We didn't really have any problems with noise. Our neighbors liked to party, every weekend. However we went over there, asked that they keep it down and they were very respectful after we called the police on them twice in one night! :) Other then that, no real problems. Of course you can hear people walk around up stairs, but that's in every apartment I've lived in.

--PARKING--
Is crazy, there could be more spaces. We paid $20 a month to have one in front of our apartment so we wouldn't have to fight for a spot.

--MAINTENANCE--
Stayed for two hours to fix our air conditioner when it wasn't working. They aren't always "on it" but they get the job done.

Despite our mishaps with other people, I honestly considered moving back in. However rent is a little expensive, but the apartments are in a great location, with plenty of things to walk to. Kroger, Sonic, 7-11, Walgreens, etc.
