I DO NOT recomend these apartments to anyone. The owners and staff don't help you too much. They decide to help some people and not others. At the time we moved in, a child molester was running the office. I was truly shocked to see his face pulled up on the Texas molester registry. There are actully two molesters that live in these apartments (that were reported by their rapists). People let their four year old kids run around unattended until dusk. Right now the cops are outside searching for someone that shot a 9mm at 1:16 AM. I have complained to the owner about the man upstairs beating his wife to the floor for months. He beats her until she screams. I cannot stand disturbing hearing her scream. They also have a baby that cries when she gets.He has been beating her since my husband and I moved here December 2007. Who knows how long its really been going on. I would be making cheesecake in the TINY kitchen and they would start screaming at each other, then he would beat and throw her around for hours. We complained constantly about him beating her. They could tell us that they were going to do something about it. Two moths ago they told us that he was moving out on the 12th, but that never happened. We run into him almost everyday. He also throws his kitty litter off the balcony. We told them about him throwing kitty litter and they told us that they were going to write him a notice about throwing it off of his balcony. The next time he threw it off of the balcony, he decided to put the kitty litter in a Target bag and through it on our air conditioner. We told the owner and staff about him throwing it on the air conditioner and they told us that they would pick the bag up off our air conditioner. They never did move or throw away the bag of litter. Then a week later he continued to throw the litter off the balcony, which got onto our porch. They told us that they would clean our porch, but they never did. The same man plays his music so loud that I cannot talk to my husband in our own apartment. There is also loud parties that come from his apartment on the week ends occasionally. Someone has been putting their cigarettes on our door mat. The first week we moved here someone broke a bottle on our door mat also. Maybe a week later, all four tires on my van were slashed. Sounding great so far right' Well it gets better than that! A month ago, we got a notice that the exterminators were going to spray our apartment. We cleared all of our food out of the cabinets and all the plates, pans, pots, soap, sponges, etc out of the cupboards. They did not not show up. I was here all day playing WOW and waiting for them. I have a dog, so someone needed to stay home to take the dog out of the apartment when the sprayed. We followed all the procedures of making sure all the doors were unlocked and everything was moved of the kitchen area for them to spray. We went to the office before they closed and the child molester told us that they be back in a hour. Next day comes and I am taking my time out of college to stay at home waiting for them. They never show up so we go back to the office. They tell us that they scheduled them for two weeks later. We are very angry because we had to live without plates, food in the kitchen, ect when our bedroom is plied high with everything in plastic bags. If there was a fire, we would have not been able to get out in time. Two weeks come and the exterminator sat out in his car for a hour. Then I see him turn in the piece of paper saying that he sprayed our apartment (when I was at home all day again). I deiced to go out an buy a bottle of poison to spray. Now all the neighbors are complaining about fleas being everywhere. I constantly get bites all over me from fleas. I also think a black widow is living under our sink. Our apartment flooded from a crappy old hose on the washing machine. They showed it to me at the office. It was rusted and had some corrosion on it. They did not want to move us when the apartment flooded so they called someone to vacuum all the water out of our kitchen, front room, closet, and bedroom. They pulled all the foam underneath the carpet and we had to live with carpet over concrete for five days. It was unconformable. They had to cut through the middle of the carpet, so now we have a huge uneven tear in our bedroom. I am double sure that we have fungus in our carpets from the flood. They would not move us what so ever. The police are called all the time. There was a woman one night screaming for help. It was too dark to see where she was and what happened to her. Well, I guess that might be all the horrible things that happened to us in a six month span. Please do not live in theses apartments if possible. They are not worth it. If you have children or are going to have children DO NOT move in these apartments. Its not safe with the child molesters running around. I would also like to add that the apartments are very run down, chipped, and have small holes in the walls from previous owners. It looked like someone peed allover the walls in our bathroom when we first moved here. That was wonderful to clean up.I am sure that I have left something out. I never feel save night or day. We are going to move out in a month (= It is going to be a big relief for the both of us.
