The Haven is hands down one of the best apartments I have seen in this price range and location. I had moved from another gated community in McKinney and cannot tell you how many differences there are, it's almost overwhelming. I can walk to my car and feel safe at all times. The gates to the complex are wonderful and help to keep uninvited guests out of the complex. The apartments I came from would have the gates broken for weeks at a time. The staff has been nothing but professional and great at customer service. Maintenance is very detail oriented and along with fixing it right doesn't leave anything looking less then a contractor built home. The layouts for the apartments are one of the best features. I simply adore how you don't walk directly into the living room when you walk through the front door. I was looking for an apartment complex that is detailed oriented and keeps high expectations and The Haven is exactly that! 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn

For the most part I agree with you, but the gates here are frequently broken or left open for days on end. And it's a good thing you feel safe walking to your car... from my building I sometimes have to park all the way across the complex. And then there's the not being notified when packages are in the office for you. Still, it is a nice place to call home.

The gates are a great idea when they are working. Just today the gates at both entrances were not working so I could not get into the property. They would let people out, but you could not get back in!!! I had to park outside the gates and run in after a car had come out.....I left again for about 4 hours and the gates were still not working. Most of the time the main entrance gates are open for anyone to come in. If this is going to be a gated community please make it accessable to the people that live here!!! The packages.....wow, glad I was not needing this right away!! I did not realize that I had a package in the office until they finally put a note on my mailbox........a month and a half later. Is it really that hard for them to notify people when something has arrived for them?? Is that not part of their job?? The mailboxes are right outside their side door, so it's not like they have to walk a mile or around to every apartment. I pay a lot for my apartment and I don't feel I am getting my money's worth.
