Since there has been new people in the office things are actually getting done and efficiently.
All I can say is thank goodness they now have competent people working in the office. I am having a much more pleasant time living here.

Maybe you were just an unclean person and did not realize it until someone else had to tell you! Welcome to reality! The people in the office have been very nice to me and actually helped me out when I was having a hard time with finances. I moved from Mission Ranch, regardless of where you live, you will be charged for fees if you do not clean and are messy. Mission Ranch was awful, I felt like I was speaking to a wall most of the time.

I've been looking for an apartment on-line for a couple of months, and I've been reading the comments about various apartments to help me make my decision, and I've also been wondering if these comments are made by management or just by angry people who couldn't get their deposits back. So I decided to look on-line for what was written about my current residence to see how accurate these comments were, and I have to tell you, some people need to get out into the real world and see what kind of apartment life is out there before they make wild statements and judgements about some of these properties. Let me just tell it to you straight. First of all, I don't work for the Alexan, which by the way is the Alexis, but I have lived here for the last five years. I have seen this property go through two managements, and although the current management is okay, the first management was better. They use to have all these parties with free food, and prizes, and they even took a group of residents to box seats at a Rangers game. They were Good Christain people. The current management is okay,yes, one of them is ---. So What! And, no they don't fall all over you with compliments, but if you need something done, they get it done. If tenants mis-behave they usually don't stay long if you compalin, they take care of it. I love the Alexis. I've known a few people who have moved out only to come back. If I weren't re-locating for work I'd stay here until I bought a house. I don't know who said these apartments were dirty with broken bottles, etc, but I have never seen broken glass, or trash laying about the property, unless it was on one of the designated days for curbside pick-up. There are doggie stations everywhere, and every so often managment sends out a flyer reminding guests to clean up after their pets in order to avoid being fined. The Alexis is conveniently located close to the mall, the best schools in Mesquite, Downtown Dallas, and Hwy 20,80,635, and 30, and restaurant row, etc. What more can you ask for? No it is not completely perfect, but what place is? And for the record, the next time any one of you decides to review an apartment, just tell people what we really want to know: Do you feel safe there? Are there roaches, rats, or other obnoxious creatures? Is the place about to cave in? Is the property kept nicely? When you complain about a problem do things get done? Is it quiet enough, that you can sleep when you want to sleep, and hear your own thoughts/or someone else's when you need to? I guess if you really want a reliable opinion about an apartment, you have to go and check it out for yourself.
