I have a previous entry about my water leakage but now I have a HUGE complaint about the break-ins. My apartment was one of the apartments broken into. Come to find out from the Police, mine was the 4th break in!!! I know I most likely couldn't have stopped someone from breaking in but, I could have made my apartment a little safer buy making sure important things like my birth certificate, extra credit cards, saving books and such (which by the way were stolen)were safely tucked away. In addition, it is the LEAGAL obligation of the apartments to inform the complex of a break in the FIRST TIME IT HAPPENS. Audubon Park Apartments DID NOT inform the tenents until after the 11th break in. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. I still had one more month on my lease and DID NOT RENEW. The front office didn't really care that my apartment was broken into...they were to busy trying to keep it quiet. If you are looking to get an apartment...KEEP LOOKING! You do not want to live in that place. I agree with the previous tenent who said, "I'd rather live at the 7-11!
