I moved her in Feb. of '06, for a first apartment these are great, the office staff is nice and maintenance does take a while but they get the job done. Like I said, nice for 1st time renters.

My check card was stolen by my neighbors uncle who was living there, but NOT on the lease. He used $1000 and when I told management that my rent would be late because of what happened, there was no sympathy! She advised me I would still have to pay all the late fees. Until she was informed that someone(with a criminal background) living in the complex but NOT on a lease committed the crime, she didn't give a damn. Finally, I convinced them NOT to lock me out, but that was pretty much it. I still had to pay a $90 late fee, which didn't help considering my account had been wiped out!

Along with that in July one of my neighbors got mugged right outside my bedroom window. The guy beat her upside the head with his gun and stole her purse. They claim to have a "courtesy officer" roaming around, but I've never seen one. My boyfriend says he had but only once or twice.

I am so scared after dark that if I have to walk to my car or apartment alone I make a neighbor or my boyfriend watch me to make sure nothing happens. I have no idea how my neighbors uncle got my check card but everything I own is safely tucked away, and I am very cautious!
