The year that I have lived here has been one of the most horrible rental experiences of my life. Everything the management does is to protect their bottom line. When I moved in with my wife last summer we noticed that the air conditioning was not working properly. It could only keep the apartment 10-12 degrees cooler than the outside temperature. August in Texas sees temps over 100 degrees during the afternoon. This means that it was about 90 degrees in our apartment. Everytime we told the management they treated us like it was our fault and it never got fixed. Also, when we moved in the blinds were messed up and dingy. The manager told us that they had already ordered new blinds but they didn't get them in time to install before we moved in but that they would be installed withing a few days. WE STILL DON'T HAVE NEW BLINDS!!!
The biggest problem with this complex is that they treat their residents like the maintenance issues are the residents fault. The people in the office always roll their eyes and turn up their noses whenever you tell them about a problem. I have not had one maintenance issue resolved. Everything is still pending. I'm glad we are moving out in a month. It won't come soon enough.
Oh, and just as a funny side note. The maintenance man is scared of heights and won't get on a ladder. What kind of maintenance man is that'
