THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!! Sure it's nice if you are looking for something that is quiet and has a small complex, but that's really all this place has to offer. The office staff always has an attitude, there is no leniency with paying the rent, and here's the weirdest part, your water bill (which the include in your rent) is AVERAGED @ $20.00/PERSON. That's right, with just 2 people in one apartment that's $40 for water alone. My water bill used to be between $10-15 when we lived over off Bobtown. On top of that, the maintenance requests are in no order except for as they are called in, there is no precedence for emergencies or for the requests that should be taken care of first or in a more timely manner than others. In the almost year that we have lived here they sprayed for bugs ONCE!!! Luckily, my boyfriend was at home that day and saw what they did; first, about 3 o'clock the day before the spray was scheduled they left a letter on all the doors stating to take all dishes out of cupboards and clear all counter tops and drawers (which we did), the day of the spray, they came in did one swipe with the spray under the stove and vent-a-hood, and one by the sink!!!! WHAT IN THE HELL KIND OF PEST CONTROL IS THAT'!'!'!'! When my boyfriend asked if they were going to spray in the living room or bathroom (where we had the most ants) their response was "no, only if it was requested by the apartment complex, will we spray additional spaces." Does that make any sense''' The weather stripping around the front door has been replaced once since we lived there and there is still a HUGE gap between the door and the frame where the air inside escapes, and vice-versa. Also, if you move in, be sure to get an upstairs apartment, we live on the first floor and we hear every move the guy above us makes, including the porn music to the porn videos he watches daily. He also has something, some kind of tool, or something that when you turn it on it sounds as loud as a compressor running! It shakes our whole apartment and drowns out our t.v. I've tried to knock on his door but his porn is so loud he can't heat the knock, and the office hasn't done anything to resolve the request I had to ask them to ask him to keep it down. To top it all of this morning when I was in the bathroom getting ready, I felt something hit my arm, when I looked at my arm there was a drop of yellow liquid, I thought maybe it came from my hair since it was still wet from my shower mixing with the lotion I had put on not a minute earlier. But no! It was (well, it's still not determined EXACTLY what it was) coming from the ceiling, and as the day has progressed on, more and more spots of yellow have shown up on the ceiling and began to drip! If you ask me, I think it was urine! This place is old, says it's been remodeled, but I would like to know the details of that before signing a lease here. And beware, the appliances are old, there are ants very bad, and worst of all you get a side of attitude from the office employees. Oh and lets not forget to mention how many break ins have occurred in the complex since we've lived here, and yet we still haven't seen the so-called "security Courtesy Patrol" that they have hired to watch the apartments at night... this place is a JOKE!
