The first 2 weeks I lived there, by Master Bathroom was taken over by Termites. It took a letter to the Management Company in California and the Local Health Department for Camelot to come and take care of the problem 1 month later. We were flooded out 3 times and the last two times, no one ever came to clean the carpet. We went without the use of both toilets for an entire weekend. Also they were trying to tow my Husband's car because they said it needed a paint job and the Owner of the Property was coming so even though the car was running, had insurance and state inspection, we had to move it while the owner was on property. And the kicker was when we were finally able to purchase our home, instead of sending my deposit back, I was sent a bill saying I owed almost $1,000 for stuff like $500 for a burn hole in the refrigerator door. How do you burn a hole in the refrigerator door' The fridge was old and the hole was there when we moved in, it is small like a drill hole from Management installing the door on the right side. Also stuff like them painting the apartment, isn't that part of make ready and it only cost them $140.00 I have the invoice. Bull charges for Water and Gas which was paid every month on the 1st with rent, they still have not sent me the invoices for that. $75 for a chip in the bathroom sink they say and much more. If you like having to send in Work Orders 3 times and still having stuff fixed half assed, then this is your place. I was told by the Manager herself that I was not living in a brand new house and I told her it did not matter where I was living, as long as I was paying for it, I expect things to be taken care of in a professional manner. They could care less about the tenants only money
