Parking: After 4 or 5 years, you might merit an assigned spot. Otherwise, free-for-all (vandals included...)
Noise: Walls are thin and stereos abound! Don't expect office help for it.
Grounds: Maintained around the office ONLY. Look around inside; the grass dies about 2 feet into the community. Building looks are not maintained whatsoever.
Safety: Two break-in attempts in my unit alone within the last 6 months and many others in other units. Office does not let you know what's going on. Alarms and gunshots on complex cause my neighbor and I to check our building WITH WEAPONS almost weekly, just to give us a sense of safety. Management apparently reomved 'courtesy officer' after he refused to respond to one of our break-ins
Construction: Horrible. Many doors are now warped shut, water leaks EVERYWHERE, electric systems are substandard.
Maintenance: Maintenance crew (when we have one) is inept and lazy. Neighbor has discovered black mold. They painted over it and told him that it would be fine. I have requests that are almost 2 years old. Need I say more'
Staff: Lies, enforces rules very unequally, 'loses' paperwork, does not provide amenities listed in the lease. Previous liar manager now heads district, so no use in complaining to corporate office. Manager shows very poor attitude when reporting problems and takes no action. Leases prohibit home-based businesses and management allowed a day care to operate in a 1-bedroom. When threatened with legal action due to the noise and violation, they simply moved them to another unit.
Overall opinion: Was nice 3 years ago with responsible staff. This is no longer the case. There are countless major problems in this complex, but the management has decided to simply welcome in a far lower class of tenant than to maintain the property. Only a fool would move in here.
