My boyfriend moved in at the beginning of this year and the floorplan, though a little difficult to place furniture in, was nice and open. The dishwasher is substandard, one of the drawers in the bathroom broke within the first month, but until recently there weren't any huge problems.
Because of the summer heat we've been running the AC more. It leaks CONSTANTLY. I'm not talking a small drip down the wall... no...
Where the wall meets the ceiling is pink from mildew, there are stains halfway down the wall and that's only one side. Where the vent sits in the ceiling it leaks on the floor. We now have a trash can and bowl as permanent fixtures on the floor to catch all the water. The trash can fills after two days.
We put in an order to repair it, they've been over three times and now its worse than it was before.

My boyfriend and I work during the nights too so we sleep during the day. The apartment looks out over the pool and although it gets loud, it usually doesn't bother us.. But our neighbors either below or next to us must have their speakers right on our bedroom wall because at exactly the same time everyday that noise comes in and keeps us awake. It's not voices, it's heavy bass as if someone's on a drumset in the other room.

Although there are washer/dryer connections in the apartment, it would be nice if there was a laundry room for the whole complex.

The staff is amazing though, really friendly, and its not their fault the maintenance crew is slightly incompetent. The rent is pretty good, definately the best for what we were able to get. The fireplace in the living room is gorgeous and there's nice built-in bookshelves.

It's an apartment. It was the price we needed. And no, my car has not gotten broken into.
