I have lived at LaPrada Club for the past year. My lease is coming up for renewal and although they aren't increasing my rent I am looking to move. Yes, the rent is very affordable, but not worth the hassles. The main problems that occur are: you can hear the pipes everytime someone flushes the toilet..sounds like they wall is about to cave in no lie. They allow inoperable vehicles to take up all the upfront parking spaces. There is a new management company that has taken over and we are all trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but seriously how long does it take ot pick up the phone and call the towing company! The pools were not open but for two days all summer long in 2006. There are 50 thousand car alarms that go off all night long. When you go out to your car you have to fight garbage in the parking lot. I know that's not the managements fault, so seriously if you live here and are reading this and you are one of the people that throw your trash on the parking lot ....take it two steps to the dumpster. In the past month there has been to vehicles that have been left on center-blocks with the rims and tires jacked. If you call the office they will just tell you that it was a repo situation. One time ok I can believe that, but the next week another vehicle. not likely. The apartments aren't very energy efficent. My electric bills each month are close to $200.00 for a one bedroom flat unit. Yes, there are alot of kids here, so you would think that it would be more family oriented...nope too many drug dealer that go in and out of the property you can't even alow your kids to go outside and play. So if you are single and want the "party" dorm lifestyle with a touch of ghetto-ness then this is the place to be, if not stay away.

I know what youre talking about i just made a rating to these apartments the staff is terrible and about the pipes its true i get scared at night it sounds like if the water is going to cause the walls to break and my furniture being ruined oh i cant imagine that!

To the comment on the the truck. The guy was dating someone and pissed them off. So she has his ---- stolen and the girl with the expedition her truck was stoled somewere else and since she lived here then duh !!!! she would bring the truck home for the insurance adjuster to look at it. stop worry about everyone else and worry about yourself and you will be just fine.

the person that made that last comment must be either someone in the office or one of the problem tenants out here!!! there were actually a couple, maybe a few cars that had rims stolen off of them last year, sooo did u have an excuse for each of them?? i use to live at the very front & witness all the drama that came in & outta here...
