ROACHES! We have had roaches since we moved in. They spray but the roaches never go completely away. I have to wash every dish I use when I take it out of the cabinet. Our neighbors are loud. They fight and we have had to call the police at 3 in the morning because one of them was trying to kick the door in to their apartment and yelling. The parking is terrible. If you dont pay for covered parking dont expect to park on the same row your building is on. One of our bathrooms has not worked since we moved in. We tried fixing it ourselves and we called maintenance who "fixed" it and it still is not working 10 months into our lease. We pay our rent up to two weeks in advance at times and one month we paid on the morning of the second and were charged a $25 late fee. The new management said that there is a 3 day grace period for people that have signed leases under them, however since our lease was signed under old management we would have to pay the fee. Then they made the gates functional which I think is a positive step, but we were told if we wanted to get in we would have to pay $25 for a gate key. When we told them that our lease that they referred to with our late charge says we are supposed to be issued a gate key FREE they told us to get a lawyer if we had a problem with it. The new management is making some positive changes, but they do not appreciate their tenants and are rude. So many times I have wanted to break our lease but cannot afford that to be on my record. I will be so glad when we leave this place and would pay twice the rent for a smaller place just to be out of here. I do not recommend these apartments the way things are at this point.
