Since my wife and I got our 2 bedroom in this complex a year ago, we've decided to stay here for a while. We like the modern floor plan and the loft which I use as an office space. The kitchen is equipped with new models of fridge and oven. We haven't seen other apartments in the area with upgrades like such at this affordable price. The community is very clean and manicured.

Hey readytogetouttahere. You should move out. My wife and I have had a great experience here since we moved in and obviously you are unhappy where you live. I think that you are a coward. It's easy to post things anonymously. Obviously you must be really bored or unemployed if your posting a thread to my review. Get a life.

I lived in La Prada about 5 years ago and while the apartment was not terrible it was fairly old. I had a one bedroom that was like a loft. The thermostat was in the stairwell and the heater was upstairs. So during the winter I would have 90 degree heat upstairs and be freezing downstairs. I cannot recall and problems with management during my one year stay. La Prada was and should be simply a stop over. It was my 1st apartment... I quickly realized I wanted more. But for the rent it was a good deal. I am not sure I would recommend just because it is located in Mesquite and let's face it... Mesquite has gone to the birds.

jtrevor_65...yes i do need to move out & will be doing so soon...& FYI the only reason I have stuck it out this long is so that my child can attend the same school that he has been for 3 yrs now...& no I am not unemployed nor am I a coward...I am actually utilizing this site for what it is here for & that's for people to review the apartments ratings & comments from ACTUAL residents & see how they feel...you may love the apts, that just shows the type of quality & lifestyle that you are used to & so does the comment that you wrote to my response...I however expect & want more...the funny thing is you probably come on here everyday to see if I wrote you back...well here you go, now you don't have to look & wonder anymore! & you my "fellow resident" need to get a life! lol see you around!

jtrevor_65, you cant be serious. I lived @ that place 10yrs ago and it was crap then. It looks ok from the exterior but the inside is horrible. not to mention all of the government apartments around the corner. Im not knocking you for living there, but dont attack someone else for wanting a better lifestyle than what that place has to offer.
