The Barons apartments over on Hwy 80 has the residents up in arms. They hired the Sierra water billing company awhile ago and the water bills (or so called water bills) are 5-10 times higher than before. They are not being charged for actual use. The bills went from $7.00 a month to $47.00 a month or more just for one person. Lots of residents are going to Fox News for help. If you have 2 people than the bill is over $75.00. If you have a fair water billing system, and great management, some of the residents will be looking your way! The Barons along with Sierra billing in Austin has extra charges on the water bill. If you used $10.00 in actual usage, they are sending a bill for $47.00. They do not have their own meters! They are trying to cheat the residents in the form of the so called "WATER BILL". Sierra is noted for adding to the bottom line of the apartments profits, but lots of angry residents end up moving out and going to the media. It is all over the internet about the Barons.
