I have been at Hillcrest for sometime now, and all the changes I have seen that are suppose to make "life" better, have not made it any better. All the "new" stuff that they have put into the apartments are cheap! Every appliance that was replaced is smaller then what was here, the dishwasher, the stove and the frig. With the new blinds I've had to go buy diffrent curtain rods.

I've had former residents tell me how bad the drug problem is here, and up until last weekend I had never seen it....my son and I were getting into the car one evening and we were approached by a black male asking if we were looking for something....it really makes me afraid to leave my prison! Makes me afraid to allow my teenage son to go out side to see his friends.

The so called extras are now almost gone...we used to have a pool monitor, which made it safer to go to the pool and enjoy it. The hot tub hasn't worked the last two summers that I know of, it closes early because there are no working lights, non-residents come in and use the pool. Valet laundry used to be a blessing...then they doubled the cost, once they did that then no one could afford to use it, now it is gone. They've included the cost of the water back into the rent...which is only fair, there are so many water leaks here that it was unfair for us to have to pay the water, atleast once a month I can come home from work and there be no water due to the leaks. The so called NEW boiler/chiller system isn't any better then the old one. They are now income based and all that does is bring in more TRASH.

I am ashamed to tell people this is where I live! but I can't afford to move.

As for the office, with all the changes you can no longer call after hours and talk to a live person, you have to leave a message and hope that they call you...which only once has anyone responded...the so called security that we have...that is a joke.

That's interesting... You made sure you pointed out it was a black male... I stopped reading your post after that... def. tells me a lot about the person posting the post...
